Prevention Materials
“Suicide is not chosen; it happens when pain exceeds resources
for coping with pain.”
YSPP offers educational posters and brochures on prevention topics
including the warning signs and what to do to help those at risk.
These prevention materials are available to Washington State residents
and organizations free of charge through the state Department of Health (DOH).
Order Posters & Brochures
You can now order your materials online at the
Washington State Department of Health website.
Directions for Ordering Online
- Register online just one time on the first page by choosing"I'm New" and entering your email address and choosing a password.
- On the next page choose "Shop by Agency".
- Then "Department of Health" on the next page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list and select "Youth Suicide Prevention".
- You can then choose the items you are requesting - keeping in mind the maximum quantities that are listed. They will then be mail to you free of charge.
- The next time you log on to order, choose "I've Been Here" and your default mailing address will appear on the order page.
