
YSPP OUTLoud offers multiple trainings for teachers and staff in schools in Washington State, to address the risk and protective factors for LGBTQ youth & bullying and bias based harassment in schools.
Content can be modified based on participant need, length of time available, desire to focus on particular issues.

Length: varies, from 1-3 hours
Defines bullying and bias based harassment and who’s involved in the behaviors
Identifies the relationship between bullying and bias based harassment & negative mental health outcomes.
Safe and Accepted: LGBTQ Youth Suicide Prevention & Intervention
For school staff and teachers
Length varies from 1-3 hours
Increases understanding about why LGBTQ youth are at greater risk for suicide and self-harm, and awareness of the warning signs for clinical depression & suicide.
For students, facilitated by youth ages 15-24
Length varies from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours
Increases understanding about why LGBTQ youth are at greater risk for suicide and self-harm and how students can increase support for LGBTQ youth in communities and schools.
