YSPP Benefit Concert

Peggy DeLay and PlatApus Productions organized a benefit concert for YSPP that featured several bands, including Vendetta Red. Several hundred young people crowded into the Northwest Showman's Hall in Puyallup on April 23rd to hear the show. The bands played for free; the hall, security and concessions were donated. Proceeds totalled over $1,000, and were given to YSPP to advance our efforts to raise awareness and train "gatekeepers."

Peggy reported that a young man who attended the concert had been in touch with her. He had apparently been feeling depressed and was unhappy about his family that was "falling apart." He came to the show and was moved by the anti-suicide message from the band and decided afterwards that there was a reason to live.

Thanks to PlatApus Productions for saving a life!
