In 1994, Washington State created a ground-breaking plan to reduce the instance of youth suicide in our state.

2009 Washington State Youth Suicide Prevention Plan

YSPP is charged with implementing the plan. We continually evaluate program activities to learn which components of the program are most critical to reducing the incidence of suicidal behaviors among Washington's youth.

These studies provide data that we've used for improving our efforts and establishing new plans of action:
